Regarding the March 1 letter, "Framers refused God's help with Constitution," I could give the letter writer several sources that would prove him wrong, but he would pooh-pooh those sources as well. However, his quotations of John Adams and Alexander Hamilton were isolated and out of context.
Whether or not the letter writer cares to admit God's hand in the freedom of this country is his right. It is that freedom of speech that is protected by the "ungodly" Constitution.
I would suggest that the writer read two books. These are "John Adams," by David McCullough and "Seven Miracles that Saved America," by Chris and Ted Stewart. He just might be enlightened.
