Larry and Joanne Blanch

Joanne and Larry Blanch of West Weber celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Maddox Ranch House Restaurant. Family and friends are welcome to attend an open house in their honor from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 5 at the West Weber Cultural Hall, 4100 W. 900 South, Ogden.

They were married on Feb. 12, 1960, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.

Both are retired teachers of the Weber County School District.

He works in the Ogden LDS Temple and the Family History Center. He is involved in the Retired Teacher's Association and the Sons of Utah Pioneers.

She is involved in ward callings, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and tends the grandchildren.

Both enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Their children and spouses are Todd and Heidi Blanch, Bryce and Pam Blanch, Layne and Julie Blanch, Lynn and Kate Blanch, Terry Blanch, Brian and Dawn Blanch, and Brent and Nikki Blanch.

They have 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
