OGDEN -- The family of a West Weber woman who was critically injured Aug. 7 while riding a motorcycle with her husband near Kamas was reporting encouraging news Monday.

On a daily blog entry, started to keep those interested informed, the family reported Monday that Machel Maycock, 50, was following loved ones around the room with her eyes.

"Her eyes are opening and she's looking around a little bit," said her son, Josh Maycock, 27.
